Grilled Cheese Summer is a limited-time menu of ten of our top grilled cheese sandwiches, pulled from twenty-five years of feeding Los Angeles — served hot at our West LA café on Ensley.

For twenty years, Grilled Cheese Month was a spring thing. Then it took a few years off after college. It's back now — tan, rested, and in no hurry — and it's not settling for a month. It's staying for the whole season.

Every sandwich is named for a stretch of California coast and built like it means it. Sharp cheddar and meaty chili, topped with Fritos. Meatballs, provolone and arrabiata on a seeded hoagie. Peaches and burrata, open-faced. Shrimp, salsa morita and avocado on the El Matador. And yellow cheddar on country white, because some icons don't need improving.

Cheese, bread, butter and heat are in the forecast, and Clementine's grilled cheese is always in the Golden State.

Starts Tuesday, July 14th, and runs through the end of August. Order online for pickup or delivery, or eat it here while it's still melting — which is, we'd argue, the best way to spend your summer.
